Scott Garrett comes to The Concept Law Group after having served as in-house Patent Counsel to Motorola, Inc. During his career at Motorola as an electrical engineer and then as a patent attorney, Scott worked on countless technical projects including battery charging systems, advanced safety circuitry, charger firmware design, AC to DC power converters, sensors, radio/battery circuit compatibility issues, compliance testing of conducted and radiated emissions for power converters and power supplies, all cellular telephony standards, WLAN, VoIP, a-GPS, software and hardware interface elements, mechanical, radio, and manufacturing technologies, as well as business methods. During his time as an engineer, several of Scott’s designs became the subject of patent applications. In fact, Scott is listed as an inventor on over 15 issued patents.
Scott is a registered patent attorney and holds a degree in Electrical Engineering.
