Mr. Seepersad focuses his legal work on corporate law, intellectual property enforcement and protection, technology development agreements, advertising, and education law. He has more than thirteen years’ experience negotiating, drafting, and enforcing thousands of agreements pertaining to: Acquisitions, Divestitures, Joint Collaborations, Intellectual Property Development; Protection, Software; Product Licensing, Front End and Back End Technology Development and
User Generated Content, E-Commerce policies, etc.), Product Development, Manufacturing, Independent

Operations. In addition to the above, Mr. Seepersad has extensive expertise advising on the significant body of
Federal and State regulations that pertain to higher education, internet advertising, telemarketing, e-commerce,
collections, and data protection and privacy issues.
Prior to joining The Concept Law Group, Mr. Seepersad spent over 10 years serving as in-house counsel for one of
the nation’s leading education, technology, and marketing services providers. While there, he reported directly to the
CEO and served as General Counsel and Chief Strategy Officer, overseeing the legal, compliance, strategy and
human resources departments. Before that, Mr. Seepersad practiced law at one of Florida’s oldest and largest law
firms serving first in the litigation department and then the corporate law department. At that firm, Mr. Seepersad
initially focused on complex medical malpractice defense, product liability, and commercial litigation. This practice
evolved to include the representation of doctors, nurses, and pharmacists before their respective state licensing
boards and advising on regulations regarding the same. Eventually the litigation component was reduced, and the
regulatory and licensure focus was expanded to include the facilitation of a broad range of general corporate and
licensing transactions and later, FDA compliance relating to prescription and over-the- counter drugs, cosmetics,
organic foods, and other ancillary health products.
Mr. Seepersad was a finalist for the 2017 Tampa Bay Top Corporate Counsel Award and has served as a guest
lecturer with the University of San Francisco covering the topics such as: (1) Preliminary considerations when
purchasing Internet Advertising; (2) Negotiating Internet Advertising Agreements; and, (3) Unique Contract
Features found in Internet Advertising Agreements. He was also a speaker on Disruption in the Education Industry
at Tampa Bay Business Journal’s Disruption Day. While in law school, Mr. Seepersad was Staff Editor and
Symposium Co-Chair of the Inter-American Law Review and served as a Judicial Intern to the Honorable Judge
Paul C. Huck at the United States District Court -Southern District of Florida and for the Hillsborough County
Attorney Office in Tampa, FL.
When not practicing law, Mr. Seepersad spends time with his wife and two children. His passion is for travel, food,
and snorkeling. As a result, when not practicing law or focusing on his family, he can be found exploring one of the
world’s tropical reefs or enjoying a good meal with friends.
