Roc Nation, a full-service entertainment company founded by American rap artist Shawn “Jay Z” Carter, is being sued for copyright infringement by NPG Records and NPG Music Publishing, companies that were founded by Prince.
On Friday, Linkin Park’s bassist, Dave Ferrell, testified in a copyright infringement suit accusing Jay Z, producer Timbaland, and others of illegally sampling an Egyptian ballad in Jay Z’s song “Big Pimpin.’”
