Evan received his Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University in 2013, where he was a Senior Editor at Nova Law Review. He graduated Magna Cum Laude, finished in the top 6% of his class and received Nova’s highest academic merit scholarship through the entire length of his studies. Following graduation, Evan began his legal career as a Staff Attorney at Law Firm Kelly IP, working on a wide array of trademark litigation and prosecution matters, while pursuing an LL.M. in Intellectual Property Law at George Washington University, one of the top Intellectual Property LL.M. programs in the world. Evan earned the prestigious “Finnegan Fellow” academic merit scholarship for his work at George Washington University.

In 2015, Evan took a position as In-House Counsel to Amalfi Home Furniture, an international wholesale startup, managing everything from intellectual property and employment issues to sales contracts and environmental compliance initiatives. Evan helped Amalfi grow into a wholesale furniture power with over $40 million in gross sales.

Evan grew up in Montreal, Canada, speaks fluent French, and received a bachelors Political Science from Concordia University.  Evan lives in Washington D.C. and as a singer, songwriter and guitar player for over fifteen years, Evan fuses his passion for the arts and law through his intellectual property practice.
