Ms. Riviere Diaz is fluent in Spanish and conversational in Portuguese and German, enabling her to assist a broad range of clients across national and international markets.
Legal Experience & Accolades:
In her career, Ms. Riviere Diaz has contributed to the Florida Bar Business Law Section white papers, research, and publications addressing intellectual property and digital innovation, and supported the ABA Business Law Section’s Intellectual Property Committee CLE program as materials coordinator.
She also holds a real estate license and has experience performing property title work, drafting litigation & transactional documents, assisting with discovery in real estate and civil matters, and has served as a judicial intern in the Eleventh Judicial Circuit of Florida.
Prior to becoming an attorney, Ms. Riviere Diaz received national and local recognition for her work and scholarship. In the past, she has been named an HNBA Intellectual Property Law Institute Scholar, has received the Excellence in IP Scholarship Award for Trademark and Branding, has been a Merit Scholarship Recipient, and has earned awards for Cyber Law and Copyright Law.
Education:
Bachelors of Arts and Science degree in Biology and English, with a minor in Chemistry, from the University of Miami (2017).
J.D. from St. Thomas University College of Law, completing certificates in Intellectual Property and Business Law (2023).
Community Service:
On her time off, Ms. Riviere Diaz partakes in activities that involve giving back to her community. Being a South Florida Native, Ms. Riviere Diaz volunteers in the Blue Water Task Force, a specialized task force within the Surfrider Foundation that focuses on testing water contamination levels to ensure that the beaches are safe for swimming and public use.
